i emailed habitat for humanity for an application to see if they will help me build a house.

i also asked: I do have one other question - does Habitat for Humnaity only do commercial construction? I have a dream to use reclaimed materials and be as green as possible in building. I would love to reuse woods for the flooring and trim, glass and cement in the countertops, low flow toilets and refurbished pedastel bathroom sink and clawfoot bathtub. I know if I built alone (if I could ever even afford it) it would take longer than normal but I am collecting information and even writing a blog about my small home preraration and eventual living. My dream home is quite small and very sustainable.
